Joplinās municipal limb and brush program is limited to residential customers and does not accept contractor loads. Ozark Resource Recovery is being developed to serve tree services, landscapers, land-clearing companies, contractors and other commercial customers with approved brush, tree debris and clean-wood loads.
ORRās planned facility near I-44 Exit 15 will give working crews another disposal option without waiting for a residential drop-off event. Commercial customers and anyone planning repeated or large-volume loads should contact ORR before hauling.
Turning Wood Waste Into a Local Resource
At ORR, brush, limbs, logs and clean wood wonāt automatically be treated as garbage. Our goal is to recover and process suitable material into useful products such as mulch, biomass fuel and other recycled wood products whenever practical. By separating clean organic material from contaminated waste, we can reduce the amount sent to landfills and keep more of Southwest Missouriās natural resources working within our local economy.
Recover More
Suitable brush, trees and clean wood can be processed instead of buried.
Waste Less
Separating clean material helps reduce unnecessary landfill disposal.
Keep It Local
Recovered material may become mulch, biomass fuel or other useful products serving our region.
Recovery operations and material processing goals are subject to operational readiness and local market demand. Product availability may vary.
