Accepted Material Categories

Materials must be properly identified, safely transported and approved by ORR. Loads are inspected before unloading.

If you are unsure about a material, text Greg a photo before leaving the jobsite.

Construction & Demolition Debris

Approved materials from construction, remodeling or demolition projects consisting of non-hazardous debris.

  • Lumber and wood scraps
  • Drywall and gypsum board
  • Vinyl siding
  • PVC pipe
  • Insulation
  • Approved non-hazardous remodeling debris

Restriction note: No glass, liquids, paint, hazardous waste or household garbage.

Roofing Tear-Offs

Accepted roofing materials include asphalt shingles and common components of a residential or commercial tear-off.

  • Asphalt shingles
  • Felt paper
  • Synthetic underlayment
  • Roofing nails
  • Minor plywood or OSB decking debris

Restriction note: Excess decking, metal, gutters, flashing, paper or mixed trash may result in an additional fee, reclassification or rejection.

Concrete & Inert Materials

Solid inert materials that do not degrade or leach. Ideal for concrete contractors and masonry crews.

  • Clean broken concrete
  • Driveway and sidewalk tear-outs
  • Brick and CMU block
  • Asphalt pavement chunks
  • Rock and gravel
  • Pavers and retaining-wall block
  • Concrete containing rebar or wire mesh requires photo approval.
  • Loads must be free of significant dirt, wood, plastic and trash to qualify for clean concrete pricing. Mixed loads may be reclassified.

Trees, Brush & Clean Wood

Clean wood waste including forestry material and approved dimensional lumber free of treatment.

  • Tree limbs and brush
  • Logs
  • Stumps and root balls
  • Untreated dimensional lumber
  • Approved pallets and wood crates

Restriction note: No treated lumber, railroad ties, painted wood or contaminated wood.

Clean Fill

Uncontaminated natural soil material. All clean fill loads require pre-approval or an existing account.

  • Clay
  • Silt and sand
  • Topsoil
  • Excavated dirt
  • Small rock mixed with soil

Restriction note: Clean fill requires approval before tipping. No sod, organic debris, trash or contaminated soil.

Roll-Off & Dumpster Loads

ORR accepts approved, source-controlled C&D loads—not unknown mixed dumpsters. Roll-off loads must originate from a known construction, roofing, remodeling or demolition project. Advance approval and load photos may be required. Loads containing household garbage, hazardous waste or unidentified material will be rejected.

ORR reserves the right to inspect, reclassify or reject any load. Do not unload until instructed by personnel.
